Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd. operates a sugar and other foodstuffs business centered on the manufacture and sale of the Cup brand of sugar.
Characterized by its varied product lineup, this business has built up a rich range of product lines for both household and commercial use. In particular, there are three items that were developed by Nissin Sugar and have become long-selling staples thanks to their successful reflection of consumer preferences: the Cup sugar, which comes in stick-shaped sachets; Frost sugar, a quick-dissolving granulated sugar; and Kibi-zato sugar, a sugar product that emphasizes the flavour of sugarcane.
We also handle sweeteners other than sugar and engage in the research and development of new products with the aim of further expanding our product range in the future.
Sports industry business
Nissin Wellness Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary and a pioneer in Japan’s fitness club industry, began operating DO SPORTS PLAZA in 1972. As part of its expanding network of branches, Nissin Wellness also operates SPORTS CLUB ENTERTAINMENT A-1, a comprehensive fitness club; BLEDA, a hot yoga and collagen studio; DO SMART, a compact gym; and A-1 EXPRESS, a 24-hour compact gym.
Warehousing business
The New Port Industry Co., Ltd., another wholly owned subsidiary, established in 1973, operates a warehousing business in the Tokyo Bay and Port of Chiba areas, ensuring reliable food safety through appropriate temperature control and speedy freight handling.
