Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd. was established in October 2011 through the business integration of Nissin Sugar Manufacturing Co., Ltd. founded in June 1950, and Shinko Sugar Co., Ltd. founded in June 1944.

November 2000 Shares of Higashi Nihon Sugar Mfg. Co., Ltd. (now Shin Higashi Nihon Sugar Mfg. Co., Ltd. the affiliate company) acquired to make it a fifty-fifty joint venture with Dai-Nippon Meiji Sugar Co., Ltd.
March 2002 Chiba Factory constructed
July 2002 Joint production of refined sugar and other products started with Dai-Nippon Meiji Sugar Co., Ltd. at Shin Higashi Nihon Sugar Mfg. Co., Ltd.
October 2011 Nissin Sugar Holdings Co., Ltd. established as a joint holding company with Shinko Sugar Co., Ltd.
April 2013 Dissolved by a merger of Nissin Sugar Holdings Co., Ltd. with Shinko Sugar Co., Ltd.

April 2013 Dissolved by a merger of Nissin Sugar Holdings Co., Ltd. with Nissin Sugar Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

October 2011 Established as Nissin Sugar Holdings Co., Ltd., and listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
April 2013 Wholly owned subsidiaries Nissin Sugar Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Shinko Sugar Co., Ltd. absorbed by parent Nissin Sugar Holdings Co., Ltd. with the company renamed Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd.
January 2015 Sports industry business operated by Leisure Development Business Department of Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd. spun off as new company, Do Sports Plaza Co., Ltd.
April 2015 Absorption by merger of Nissin Cup Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary and general distributor of Nissin Sugar products
November 2015 Listing transferred to First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
